Victorien Adebayor plays in Niger’s draw with Egypt
Inter Allies forward Victorien Adebayor was a second half substitute in Niger’s 1-1 draw against Egypt on Sunday.
The attacker came on in the second half, replacing Mahamane Cisse on the hour mark in their final round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Egypt opened the scoring through Trezequet in the 47th minute, after the visitors asked several questions.
However, the hosts had a say in the dying embers of the match.
Amadou Moutari restored parity for Niger in the 82nd minute.
Niger have failed to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nation from their Group, placing third.
