Hammarby IF defender Joseph Aidoo has left the Swedish side to join Belgian top-flight side KRC Genk.
The former Inter Allies captain/defender will join Genk on a three-year deal with an option for a further year.
Aidoo joined the Swedish side in 2015 on an initial 3-month loan deal from Ghana’s Inter Allies FC before joining them on 3-year deal.
He was a household name in the Swedish league appearing 30 times for Hammarby where he was named MVP in most of the games he played.
He will be unveiled officially on Tuesday and has been handed jersey numbered 45.
