Last week Friday saw Inter Allies FC start pre-season games, the first team engaged in two low profile matches at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Coach Yaw Acheampong divided the team into two strong sides equally matched in strength with both sides grabbing victories.
The first match was against GLOLAMP Academy, an academy team owned and financed by former Black Stars player Nii Odartey Lamptey.
It really looked like a bit too easy match for the Eleven Is To One as they thrashed the academy side by 4-0. Last season’s top scorer Abdul Fatawu Safiu opened the scoring with a fantastic strike after 29 minutes, 6 minutes later Lord Ofosuhene added the team’s 2nd before the break.
Patrick Kpozo made it 3-0 on the 62nd minute mark and Youssouf Kabore added the icing on the cake on the 78th minute to end the first match on a wonderful note.
Right after the end of the first match, the second game commenced with the gaffer equally parading another strong side against Mobile Phone People FC, a Division Two side.
Sarfo scored the first goal in actually what was the first clear chance in the game after 17 minutes, Famador made it 2-0 on the 26th minute before Sam Ayew Yeboah scored from the spot to make it 3-0 before the break.
The second period produced no additional goals as the 3 first half goals were enough to win the match.
