Two strikers played their first games in Inter Allies colours in the ‘Eleven Is One’s’ hard fought 1-0 win over dethroned league leaders WAFA SC on Sunday.

One was also making his first appearance in the country’s elite division football and the other adding experience to the attacking lines of the team.

Prince Boateng who’s a house hold name in the Ghana Premier League joined from Premier League side Elmina Sharks before the start of the second round.

He added rich experience upfront and started from the right side of attack where he was a hard nut for WAFA’s back four to crack.

He lasted the entire duration and our number 14 showed glimpses of a quality player with speed and great dribbling skills.

Abdul-Nassiru Hamzah joined from a lower tier side from the Eastern Region was leading the attack on Sunday, his speed and great quick feet marked his debut with loads of cheers and a standing ovation when substituted on the hour mark.

Abdul-Nassiru Hamzah and Prince Boateng had their deals done on transfer deadline day, they joined the team to add bite upfront and to give the head coach option in the striking department.
