Inter Allies grabbed first away point in this season’s campaign with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Medeama SC at the T&A Park in midweek.
Striker Isaac Osae scored his first goal for the club and the club’s first goal of the season in the 35th minute after Bernard Ofori had put the home side ahead in the 32nd minute.
Head Coach Prince Owusu who missed the trip made five changes to the side that lost 2-0 to Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
Desmond Abuga had his debut after getting promotion to the senior side, Kotei Blankson and Haruna Shaibu had their starting debuts.
The home side started very well and were by far the better side in the early embers of the game and dominated possession.
The ‘Eleven Is To One’ later warmed into the game and settled, however were unlucky as Medeama broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute.
Striker Bernard Ofori reacted first to head home from a blunder to open the scoring for the home side.
But the joy was short-lived, Isaac Osae slotted his first ever Inter Allies goal from a very acute angle after Martin Antwi had put him through.
The second half largely saw Medeama controlling every aspect of the game but came against a very resolute and compact defence.
Despite attacking from all angles, both sides failed to add to tally and the game ended 1-1.
Inter Allies will now face Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday for week 4 fixture.
