Inter Allies defender Baba Mensah is confident Ghana U23 side will eliminate their counterparts from Congo in the CAF U23/Olympic Games qualifier.
The Black Meteors registered a slender 1-0 win over Claude LeRoy’s side last weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With the second leg slated for Sunday May, 31, the club’s vice captain believes they will return from Congo making Ghana proud.
“We are going to Congo with an advantage from the first leg and will hold on to that,” he told www.interalliesfc.com
“They were new to us as we hadn’t seen them play before, now we have a feel of who they are and what they can do so we will visit them with all seriousness and make Ghana proud by eliminating them.”
The winner of this two-legged tie set up a titanic clash with Nigeria in the next round of qualifiers.
