Cedar Stars ended their impressive run at the BabyJet Promotions U-16 Tournament narrowly missing out on the ultimate to Great Somas after a nail biting 2-1 loss.

The young Capelli Boys until the final game remained unbeaten and were on course to clinch the title after taking an early lead through striker, Emmanuel Agyemang.

Great Somas got back on track with the equalizer just minutes to the end of the first half and in the second half grabbed the winner through some brilliant play and went on to win the title.

The excellent performance is expected to spur the youngsters up for greater challenges as they continue their development.
