New signing Emmanuel Hammond made his Club debut in the 1-0 home win over giants Accra Hearts of Oak in week 14 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League at the Tema Sports Stadium.

The former Heart of Lions player led the Allies attack and he put up a creditable display. He gave the Hearts defense a difficult time with his ability to hold up play and in aerial tussles.

Hammond who was substituted after the break expressed his delight on the opportunity to make his debut against Hearts and is looking to improve his performance to enable him make an impact in a campaign that has seen Allies kept a 100% record at home in the first round of the league.

“The Club has been doing well especially at home. After making my debut against a big Club like Hearts of Oak, my focus now is to improve my game so that I can make contributions to help my teammates who have been doing well in the league.”

Allies next travel to Karela United in the final game of the first round and the new signing is now looking to record his first goal for the Club.

“As a striker, my main task is to score goals so I am anxiously waiting to score my first goal and I hope to do that before the end of the first round.”

Inter Allies are third on the league log on 24 points and will travel to Karela United for the final game of the first round.
