Ghana Under-20 defender Joseph Aidoo has been named the new captain of Inter Allies FC for the upcoming season.
Aidoo has been a constant member for the team and featured in over 25 matches for the Eleven Is To One last season attracting only two yellow cards in the process.
The Black Satellites defender is one of those players who has really high character and the hardest working guy around.
“It’s a huge step forward but it’s a proud moment in my career and massive honour, I must say,” Aidoo told www.interalliesfc.com
“This team is blessed with many leaders and to lead these gallant leaders it’s like a dream for me. I hope I don’t change much from the way I am as a player but to improve more.”
In addition, defensive partner Baba Mensah will also serve as the alternate captain.
The former Under-20 star had a total 29 games from a possible 37 games in all competitions last season attracting only 5 yellow cards.
These two players possess similar attributes and exhibit similar playing style. They are calm in defense but very difficult to break down.
Mentality, they are strong and can play under pressure and have excelled together in so many high-tension games last season.
