Effiong Nsungusi Jnr powers HB Koge to important win:
On loan Inter Allies forward Effiong Nsungusi’s impressive form for Danish Side HB Koge continued as he came off the bench to help his side grab an important 2-1 win at home to league leaders Vejle.
The bulky forward has so far averaged a goal every two games since the league resumed after the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic that affected football globally.
Effiong made an immediate impact, scoring a needed equalizer a minute after coming on in the 66th minute for Liam Jordan. After leveling the score at 1-1, the youngster continued to torment the opposing defense and created openings for his side.
HB Koge scored their second and the winner in the 79 minute through Vingard to secure the maximum three points and further push them a bit higher on the league log.
Effiong almost added another goal in the 86th minute but his powerful header missed target narrowly.
