Head coach Yaw Acheampong hails his charges despite the defeat to Asante Kotoko on Tuesday.
Inter Allies took a two-zero lead but Kotoko came back to win the game scoring three quick goals but the head coach still managed to find positives in the performance.
He told www.interalliesfc.com: “It was a good full-on game. It was a fantastic experience for us we kept Kotoko always at the back and didn’t get their game on.
“The players fought from start to finish, it’s just a shame we had to lose the way we did.
“We’ve got to go through a little bit of learning curve and take some good lessons out of it, we’ll take a lot out of it.
“Our challenge is to get tighter and tighter and make sure we control what we do before we start the new league season.
“We started and finished both halves well and its pleasing that we’ve got young guys who are able to play at this level with ambition.
” The challenge for us is to try and perform for the whole 90 minutes.”
