An impressive Inter Allies on Tuesday afternoon lost 2-3 to 2013/14 Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko at the Tema Sports Stadium in a preseason friendly match.

The Porcupine Warriors came from two goals down to beat the Eleven Is To One after Prosper Kassim and Lord Ofosuhene had given us the cushion earlier in each half.

It was a ceremonial match as the club launched their new Errea kits for the next season.

Yaw Acheampong’s men were the better side in the early minutes of the match as the Red Army were kept quiet. Inter Allies were brightly ahead of play, Fredrick Boateng kept pushing Sumaila and Ainooson back creating a lot of runs for Lord Ofosuhene and Prosper Kassim on the flanks.

It was always coming, Lord Ofosuhene collected a pass from Stephen Owusu Ansah on the right side, halfway line, the former burst out in speed and ran over Sumaila and Ainooson, he found Prosper Kassim who was free on the other side for a simple tap in to open the scoring just before the break.

The team continued from where they left before the break, every touch by Inter Allies was accompanied by huge applauds from the fans.

Just like the opener, Ibrahim Alhassan received a short pass from Joseph Aidoo, the left back got the better of Smallboy Korbah and got through Sumaila and Ainooson to find Lord Ofosuhene who had done same in the first goal, he slotted home coolly to increase the lead to 2-0.

The encounter that brought a surprising large number of football fans on a Tuesday afternoon saw something more entertaining and especially to the visitor’s fans, their team in a little space of 5 minutes scored three goals to win the match.

Prince Baffoe started the comeback scoring from a timely constructed free kick, substitute Obed Owusu got the equaliser before Amed Toure headed home Kotoko’s third goal from a corner.
