Inter Allies were beaten 1-0 by Bechem United at the Fosu Gyeabour Park in  Bechem on Sunday in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League week 11 fixture.

Late second half goal from Nana Antwi Manu scored in the 80th minute against the run of play made sure the Capelli Boys left the venue with no points, when the game was heading for a draw.

Two changes were made to the side that drew 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea last Wednesday at the El Wak Stadium, Martin Antwi and Samuel Mensah Konney were replaced by Ismeal Ntefuni and Hashmin Musah.

Despite pressure from the home side, the ‘Eleven Is To One’ settled after an early pressure from the hosts who had lost two consecutive games prior to the match.

The half was eluded with goals and it was Hashmin Musah who got closer to the back of the net, his overhead kick was tipped over by the goalkeeper Ernest Adu and bounced off the bar.

It was entirely the same story in the second half, Inter Allies were attacking until one counter attack from Bechem United and Nana Antwi Manu slotted the only goal of the game in the 80th minute.

Inter Allies will now face former champions AshantiGold on Sunday.
