Inter Allies returned to winning ways with a hard fought 1-0 win over former league champions AshantiGold on a calm Sunday afternoon. 

Prince Baffoe’s down shot goal in the first half was all the Capelli Boys needed to grab this vital win in the Ghana Premier League.

Frederick’s Boateng returned to starting XI as he was paired up front with Isaac Osae, leaving Prince Baffoe on the left side of attack.

Samuel Bekoe also came into the line up and replaced Hashmin Musah as the two changes made from the side that lost 1-0 against Bechem.

Going into the game, Inter Allies had gone three games without a win and that was ringing in the minds of the players to fight extra hard.

The players stepped up their play from the very first minute but the visitors were very solid in all aspects of the game.

After several probings, Prince Baffoe brought smiles to the Inter Allies faithfuls on the brink of the mandatory break, 41st minute.

Frederick Boateng got through a forest of legs before setting Samuel Bekoe, Bekoe also placed it through for Prince Baffoe who hit it hard and low to the bottom corner.

The second half produced exciting moments but both sides failed to shake the back of the net and the game ended 1-0 in favour of the ‘Eleven Is To One.’
