Inter Allies suffered yet another away defeat to Wa All Stars at the Wa Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League week 9 clash on Sunday.

Two second half goals from Richard Arthur and Emmanuel Ocran were all what the home team needed to do the damage.

Sheriff Deo Mohammed came back from injury to make the bench for the first time this season.

Youngster Abdul Halik Hudu once again got a start in the team behind Ropapa Mensah upfront.

The ‘Eleven Is To One’ settled very quickly and warmed into the game very nicely and against all odds, Inter Allies were creating chances.

Isaac Twum got the chance to break the deadlock in the 21st minute, his final touch to a cross was very soft for Richard Ofori to collect.

In the 32nd minute Gockel Ahortor sneaked through a pass for Ibrahim Alhassan, but the latter’s final ball to Ropapa Mensah was blocked and cleared.

Both sides failed to add bite upfront until the end of the mandatory first half break.

It was a different side Inter Allies faced in the second half, Wa All Stars came in from the recess very purposeful and aggressive.

Their high pressure paid off in the 75th minute. Richard Arthur flied in to head home the opener leaving Osei Kwmae with no chance.

In added time, Emmanuel Ocran nailed it with a diving header to make it 2-0.

Yet another trip to Wa yielded no point.
