The 2013/14 Ghana Premier League season was the very first time Inter Allies got the chance to taste top-flight football in the country, a season that will never be forgotten by any member of the Eleven Is To One fraternity.
The club nearly suffered relegation after embarrassingly recording defeats in the first seven games to the season, pundits made it clear that the season was virtually over with that shambolic start.
Chief Executive Officer/ Brand Manager Eric Delali Senaye wrote to www.interalliesfc.com congratulating everyone who played a role in their survival and losing finalists in the MTN FA Cup.
The statement read: “After a solid run of form to the second round of the season that saw Inter Allies jumped from the bottom to finish 6th on the First Capital Plus Premier League – debut season and runners-up in the MTN FA Cup after an indifferent start.
“I wish to thank all the stakeholders, the Tema Community, the Ghana Football Association and the FA Cup committee and the media for their support.
“Help me also extended my appreciation to the playing body – the gallant players, fantastic coaching staff, and everyone associated with the club for their help and prayers for the club to achieve this feat.”
