Summary – Medeama SC 2-1 Inter Allies – Tarkwa:

Inter Allies fell to Medeama SC 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to clear week 10 of the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

Nafiu Sulemana’s first goal for the Club in the second half was only a consolation goal, as Abass Mohammed registered a brace.

Abdul Kadir Mohammed was handed his debut start for the club, pairing with Ernest Adu in the heart of defence.

The home team were the better side in the early stages with so much pressure from the right side of attack but we were very good at the back to thwart their efforts.

Later on, we settled and dominated play. We had some decent chances with Richmond Lamptey and Nafiu Sulemana all going close.

On the 25th minute, Richmond Lamptey received a pass from Desmond Abuga and fired straight at the side of the post, being our best chance.

With five minutes to end the first half, we went close again with Mohammed Zakari failing score from Kingsley Braye’s teasing cross.

It was a spirited performance and a good first half for the boys.

The second half had a different story. Medeama attacked so well and pushed us back.

Abass Mohammed was on fire and opened the scoring in the 51st minute, thirteen minutes later he bagged his brace.

With twenty minutes to go, Nafiu Sulemana had the ball around the penalty box, he used his pace to beat his markers and slotted home beautifully.

We forced for the equaliser but the hosts showed much strength at the back and denied us at least a point.

Abass Mohammed who bagged both goals for the host was named the NASCO Man of the match.
